December 2013

• The Irish Times hosts an interesting article on the continuing development at Muckross Park, Donnybrook.  NJOG are providing Project Management, PSDP and Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical Consulting Engineering services to our Client.  This challenging project is taking place within a live campus adjacent to a Convent, Chapel, Student Accommodation and Secondary School.  The current works are Phase 2 of the overall regeneration of this historically significant campus. • The original Muckross Park House (a Protected Structure) dates from 1862 and was home to Joseph Mary Plunkett, one of the leaders of the Rising in 1916. (additional information is available at the following link). From Bootmaking to Building.

• In 1900, the Dominican Sisters purchased Muckross Park for use as a primary and secondary school with a third-level college for women sitting examinations in the Royal University. A new school with modern facilities was built on campus in 2006. Under the ongoing construction project, part of the former “old school” was converted into 12 apartments for the Dominican Sisters earlier this year.

• NJOG are pleased to announce that CBS Primary School / Colaiste Eamon Ris Wexford and Haddington Road School Dublin have been approved by The Department of Education & Skills to proceed to planning stage. NJOG are acting as Consulting Mechanical and Electrical Engineer on both projects.

 

July 2013

• NJOG are delighted to announce the completion of the regeneration of the former "1925" School Building at Muckross Park, Donnybrook. The school building adjacent to the original Muckross Park House (Protected Structure) was converted to residential accommodation. Extensive structural works were carried out to create new floors, roof, lift and stairs, while maintaining the original building facade. The next phase of regeneration works at Muckross Park has been designed and is subject to planning permission being granted.

 

May 2013

• NJOG have been retained to provide project management and multi-disciplinary engineering services for the next phase of the fit-out works at the MGS Manufacturing Group injection molding facility, Liffeypark Technology Campus (Hewlett Packard), Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

 

April 2013

• NJOG are delighted to announce the completion of the new 8-bedroom extension and associated works to the existing nursing home facility at Santa Sabina House, Dominican Campus, Cabra, Dublin 7. NJOG provided project management and multi-disciplinary engineering services for the development.

• NJOG have been appointed by the department of education as the mechanical and electrical engineering consultants for the refurbishment and expansion of Colaiste Eamon Ris and the CBS Primary School in Co. Wexford.

• The window upgrading works to the Castle Building at Clongowes Wood College, Clane, Co. Kildare have been successfully completed within the school summer holiday period.

• Planning permission has been sought for the conversion of a former school building into residential units at Muckross Park House in Dublin 4. NJOG have been retained by this long-standing client as their engineering consultants and project manager for the development.

• NJOG have been appointed to undertake a BER (Building Energy Rating) Assessment at the Beaumont Park Clinic in Dublin 9.

• NJOG are delighted to announce the completion of the Phase 3 fit-out works at the MGS Manufacturing Group injection molding facility, Liffeypark Technology Campus (Hewlett Packard), Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

• NJOG have acted as mechanical engineers and project managers for the installation of a new gas main and associated works on the Dominican Campus in Cabra, Dublin 7. The completed works will provide a more efficient energy supply to the buildings on the campus.

• We are pleased to announce the opening of new flood lighting to the all-weather sports pitch at Muckross Park College in Donnybrook, Dublin 4. NJOG provided electrical engineering, planning approval and project management services for the works.
